Goodie Goodie Gumdrops

Quarterdeck Restaurant | August 22, 2008

All you can eat steamed Maryland blue crabs for $34.95. This off the beaten path crab shack was a great place for a group of us to sit on the patio and eat crabs till the sun went down. We shared a bottle of white wine which went really well with the crabs. My midwest tastebuds can’t handle the excessive Old Bay seasoning, but I guess that’s how the natives like it here! It was really fun, but I think all you can eat crab is a once a year thing for me…

  1. I LOVE this place. I haven’t been there since last year but this post makes me want to go back ASAP. Have you tried the key lime pie there?

  2. I love key lime pie, but I haven’t tried it from there. Definitely next time though.

Key lime pie at Ray’s the Steaks is to die for too…

  3. Wow, that picture could not be more un-appetizing. : )

Thanks for the heads-up – we’re always looking for new crab places to take guests. Sounds fun!

  4. I don’t care if this place is in VA — Crabs (or crab cakes) and football, that’s what Maryland does!
